Blue Line Wellness is located in Monroe County, New York. I have worked with and alongside law enforcement for years and am so grateful to have been allowed to share space in your world. Those incidents you try to forget about…scenes you wish you could mentally erase…and calls you cannot stop seeing in your mind can weigh you down. Carrying all that around every day would get heavy for anyone.

To continue climbing towards a healthy retirement, it is necessary to find a way to reduce that mental load. Don’t let this job bring you down.

I have been a clinician for 25+ years, with experience in the psychiatric emergency department, walk-in crisis service, outpatient clinic, the VA, the jail, the County Office of Mental Health, and now with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

I have been a certified NYS Department of Criminal Justice Service instructor at the police academy since 2015, teaching at the recruit level, at the supervisory school, and in crisis intervention team training. I have been a member of the Rochester Threat Advisory Committee (ROCTAC) since its formation, with experience in conducting threat assessments and teaching in the area of threat assessment.  In 2021, I had the privilege of joining the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office full-time to develop and oversee their Health & Wellness program.

With the events in our nation and community over the past few years, I made the conscious decision to shift my focus from outward facing (in the community) to law enforcement themselves. Law enforcement all respond to, engage with, and see abnormal, tragic, and critical scenes and incidents every day, yet we expect them to keep up that pace for 20+ years. I am committed to you, committed to working together to process what you have seen and find ways to move forward despite it. You can only do what you can do and that is show up (whether that is for work, your friends, or your family.) How you show up is up to you.

I got your six. You are worth it.
